Whether you’re finishing your first 80% FCU or you’ve got a dozen builds under your belt, there’s always something new to learn. Our Build Guides section covers everything, from step-by-step finishing tutorials to tool recommendations, troubleshooting tips, and upgrade paths for your completed G80.
We’ll walk you through manual finishing with a Dremel, machine finishing with the Ghost Gunner GG3-S, and everything in between. Expect detailed walkthroughs with the kind of practical advice that actually helps (not just spec sheets and generic instructions).

The 80% landscape changed dramatically after VanDerStok, and it continues to evolve. The Industry section covers regulatory updates, legal developments, and market news that affects builders.
G80 was designed from the ground up to meet the VanDerStok standard: Supreme Court-backed, Made in USA, and still shipping while others have shut down. We’re positioned to cover this space with a perspective no one else has. When something happens that impacts your ability to build, you’ll find the breakdown here.
