Overview
Built one G80 and ready for the next? The Next Build Kit pairs the G80 Unfinished Receiver with a G80 Grip Module in your choice of color: everything your next build needs except the jig already sitting on your bench.
Your G80 jig was built for repeated use, so there is no reason to pay for another one. This kit skips the jig and takes $30 off the combined individual prices of the G80 Unfinished Receiver and Grip Module. Pick a color, pull your jig back out, and get building.
Both components are Made in USA and backed by the Supreme Court’s VanDerStok decision. At the center of the build is the same heat-treated 4140 steel fire control unit that anchors every G80, not a polymer frame like the 80% pistols it replaces.
First G80? You’ll need a jig to finish the receiver. Start with the complete G80 Build Kit instead, it includes one.

Next Build Kit FAQ
Two components: the G80 Unfinished Receiver (steel FCU with pins and slide lock spring) and the G80 Grip Module in your choice of color. No jig is included. This kit is built for owners of a G80 jig who are starting their next receiver.
No. Both G80 jigs are built for repeated use, so the one from your first build will finish this receiver too. Give the drill bits and grinding media that shipped with it a quick inspection for wear before you start. If you don’t own a jig yet, pick up the G80 Polymer Jig or start with the complete G80 Build Kit.
The jig. The G80 Build Kit includes the receiver, the grip module, and the G80 Polymer Jig for first-time builders. This kit drops the jig and keeps the receiver and grip, priced $30 below buying the two individually, because your jig only needs to be bought once.
The kit is priced $30 below the combined individual prices of the G80 Unfinished Receiver and the G80 Grip Module, and both arrive in one shipment. Compared to buying the full Build Kit again, you also skip paying for a second jig entirely.
Yes. This is the same G80 Unfinished Receiver that ships in every kit, and both the polymer and aluminum jigs are made to finish it. If you have the aluminum jig, you can finish this receiver by hand or on a Ghost Gunner GG3-S.
Yes. The G80 system was designed specifically to comply with the VanDerStok standard established by the Supreme Court in March 2025. The receiver ships unfinished without all necessary components, requires uncommon tools, and takes over an hour to complete. Meeting all three criteria for federal legality. Note: G80 does not ship to states that have banned privately made firearms.
The G80 accepts any OEM or aftermarket Glock G19, G23, or G32 Gen3 components. This includes complete slides, barrels, recoil springs, and frame parts kits. Gen3 through Gen5 magazines are all compatible. The G80 includes its own trigger pin, trigger housing pin, and slide lock spring, these replace the corresponding parts from standard Glock lower parts kits.
Absolutely. The G80 uses the 120R grip module standard, so your finished receiver can drop into any 120R-compatible grip. Buy additional colors from G80, or explore the open-source 120R ecosystem to 3D print custom grips.
Please allow a one week lead time when placing your order. If a component shows limited availability, consider ordering soon, G80 products move fast and restocks can take time.
Under current federal law, privately made firearms built for personal use do not require serialization. However, state laws vary significantly, some require serialization of all PMFs, others prohibit unfinished receivers entirely. G80 does not ship to restricted states. Always verify your local regulations before purchasing.
