Overview
The MagPul G19 15rd Mag is Magpul’s PMAG 15 GL9, and it is the magazine a G80 build is designed around. Fifteen rounds of 9mm in a body that sits flush with a G19-length grip, so the finished pistol keeps the compact profile you built it for and drops into a G19 holster without the magazine hanging up.
Magpul builds it from reinforced polymer over a stainless steel spring, with the same high-visibility controlled-tilt follower and drop-free body as the rest of the GL9 line. It will not rust from the inside, it will not dent, and it weighs less than the steel-lined factory magazine it replaces.
Indicator windows on both sides show a full load at a glance, the floorplate comes off by hand for cleaning, and the molded dot matrix gives you somewhere to paint-pen a number so your training magazines stay sorted. Designed and made in the USA.

For most builds, yes. The G80 Grip Module is a GLOCK G19 Gen3 pattern grip, and the PMAG 15 GL9 is the magazine Magpul built for the G19. It sits flush with the grip line, so the pistol keeps its compact profile and fits G19 holsters normally. Higher-capacity magazines all work, but they extend below the grip.
Yes. The 15-round body is the G19 length, so the floorplate finishes level with the bottom of the grip. That is the difference between this and the 17, 21 or 22-round magazines, which are all built around longer frames and hang below a compact grip.
The 15 keeps the pistol compact and holsters cleanly, which is what most people want in a carry or everyday configuration. The 17 adds two rounds and a longer grip, which is better on a range magazine. A lot of builders keep 15s for carry and 17s or 21s in the range bag.
A factory GLOCK magazine is a steel body wrapped in polymer. The PMAG GL9 is all polymer over a stainless steel spring, which is lighter, will not rust from the inside if it gets wet, and does not dent. You also get indicator windows, a dot matrix for marking, and a flared floorplate that is easier to strip on a malfunction. Magpul builds them in the USA.
Yes. The GL9 uses a high-visibility controlled-tilt follower that engages the slide stop on the last round, the same as a factory magazine.
Yes. The reinforced polymer body is designed to hold its dimensions under spring pressure, and the stainless spring will not take a set from being compressed. Storing PMAGs loaded is normal practice.
The floorplate is removable by hand. Depress the retainer through the hole in the plate, slide the plate off the front of the body, and keep a thumb on the spring as it releases. Reassemble in reverse. Do not oil the inside of the body; a dry wipe is what you want.

Yes. Magpul lists the PMAG 15 GL9 as compatible with sub-compact 9mm GLOCK frames, where it extends below the grip and gives you a full firing grip on a small pistol.
No. This is a 9x19mm magazine only. The G80 platform supports G23 and G32 Gen3 components, but those calibers need their own magazines. Match the magazine to the slide and barrel you are running.
